The Cashmere Collection is a premier Canadian fashion showcase where selected designers create stunning couture gowns and garments made from Cashmere Bathroom Tissue.
It shines a spotlight on breast cancer awareness and research, while inspiring hope through design innovation and artistry.
Sine 2004, it has raised over $5 million in support of the Canadian Cancer Society and the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation.
I am dedicating my design this year to my Aunt Oriel, who is battling metastatic breast cancer. Through intense pain, surgeries, and uncertainty, her faith and perseverance have given her the courage and determination that have defied this disease.
This is my tribute not only to her journey, but to that of every woman who has faced breast cancer with resilience and strength.
Each strip is different, yet combined they form something cohesive and powerful — just like the communities that support those fighting breast cancer.
Together, we can weave strength, beauty, and unity into something unforgettable.
Thank you for standing with survivors, and adding your voice to a story of courage and hope.

My first ever design project (left) from my "Intro to Fashion" class is what gave me the initial inspiration for the cape.
The garment on the left is made from wire and crepe paper streamers. The objective was to use unconventional materials and the colours were inspired by the Phoenix.
